About Core Habits Coaching
My name is Isabelle de Fays, and I am a licensed physical therapist and Certified Life and Wellness Coach with 30 years of experience across hospital, rehabilitation, workers’ compensation, outpatient orthopedics, home health, and in-home outpatient settings.
I have completed my International Life and Wellness Coaching certification through the Health Coach Institute and founded Core Habits Coaching. I am also a certified yoga instructor, integrating movement, mindfulness, and sustainable habit change into my work. My approach is holistic and personalized, blending clinical expertise with wellness coaching to help clients achieve meaningful, lasting results.
Originally from Europe, I grew up in Belgium and Spain, an international background that continues to shape my perspective and approach to care. I am fluent in both French and Spanish, which allows me to connect with and support a diverse range of patients. My multicultural experience has deepened my appreciation for individualized care, communication, and the importance of understanding each person’s unique lifestyle, values, and goals.
During my career, I have also stepped into several executive leadership roles within a nonprofit organization. That experience taught me to assess complex situations, make grounded decisions, and guide people through change—much like evaluating movement and creating a plan for functional progress in physical therapy. It also strengthened my ability to coach with clarity, empathy, and accountability so individuals and teams can grow with confidence and purpose.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through skiing, hiking, biking, and yoga. I’m also passionate about cooking with a focus on healthy nutrition and spending meaningful time with family and friends.

Wellness Coaching and Physical Therapy
Wellness coaching is at the heart of my work. Many clients come to improve their health, mobility, or daily habits, and to gain structure and accountability as they work toward their goals.
My background as a physical therapist allows me to bring a deeper understanding of movement, biomechanics, and injury prevention into this process. When needed, physical therapy may also be part of a client’s care, helping restore function and reduce pain so that long-term progress can continue.
This integration allows clients to move from recovery to strength, and from strength to lasting wellness.
